Al earned a Bachelor of Social Work at Western Sydney University in 2017. They have worked in government and non-government organisations, providing therapeutic support to Indigenous and non-Indigenous adults and young people.
Based in Alice Springs since late 2017, their passion for social justice and inclusivity underpins their counselling sessions. Al welcomes people from all walks of life, including LGBTIQ+ folks and anyone who has faced discrimination. Al enjoys working with diverse clients using an integrated approach based on the fundamental principles of Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This strengths-based approach centres on the client's expertise and knowledge regarding their problems.
